Talking about his win whilst on stage, Wayne told audiences: ‘This is all I’ve done my whole life and I’ve been able to be blessed enough to make a lot of people happy. But I haven’t always been blessed myself.’ The judges continued to pile on the praise, with Ken Jeong saying: ‘This is not a show about creating stars, this is a show about celebrating stars and honestly, I feel you’re the biggest star of all.’ Jenny McCarthy also added: ‘I’m moved by your voice, your stage presence… you slayed.’

Wayne Brady continued to chat backstage after his win, he said: ‘This experience of being on The Masked Singer is one of the most amazing roller coasters that just kept going up. I’m still in shock. It’s been one of the most amazing moments of my life.’

The Masked Singer will return to Fox in February 2020 with a UK version of the show also due to start this year, with Jonathan Ross, Davina McCall, Rita Ora and Ken on the judging line-up and Joel Dommett as host.
