Ilan Eshkeri Wins At 2024 Hollywood Music in Media Awards

Ilan Eshkeri was honoured as the winner for Best Score on the documentary ‘Super/Man:The Christopher Reeve Story’. We recently had the pleasure of watching this wonderful documentary at a special Q&A screening, where Ilan was answering questions about composing the score for the film. He was up against some tough competition including:

The HMMAs gave out honours for songs and scores in 39 categories at the event. The list of winners for 2024 was on fire and included Elton John, A.R. Rahman, Kris Bowers, Miley Cyrus, Diane Warren, Alberto Iglesias, Maren Morris, Zoe Saldana, Clément Ducol, Robin Carolan, Pinar Toprak, Lainey Wilson, Brandi Carlile, Ilan Eshkeri, Olivia Rodrigo, Camille and many more.
Ilan Eshkeri is one of Britain's most innovative composers today. He is known for his focus on emotional narrative that deeply connects with the audience, which of course has led him to where he is today.
As well as this prestigious award, Illan has also been nominated for 2 BAFTA Awards. Amongst the many films Illan has scored is ‘Layer Cake’ and ‘Stardust’ as well as his work with Actor/Director Ralph Fiennes on ‘Coriolanus and The White Crow’.
We would like to congratulate Ilan on his win for Best Score, Documentary and to congratulate all the other winners and nominations – a fantastic achievement.
